'The Botanical Series' is a project by The Light Trap Group (Light Trap).

Shopping online can be a little daunting, but when you add photographic art to the mix, well it's a whole new ball game. At Light Trap we have done everything possible to ensure what you see is what you get and pride ourselves on pleasantly surprising customers with quality pieces.

The use of this website is governed by Light Trap's policies, terms and conditions set out below. Your use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Your placement of an order with Light Trap indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

We advise you to please read these conditions prior to purchase, as once items have been transacted, you are agreeing to abide by these.

  • Delivery Information

    Light Trap uses a professional courier service to deliver your artwork to you. The customer or a customer representative must be present to sign for the goods received. A tracking number will be emailed to customers once the order has been dispatched. Deliveries, unless otherwise stated or organised will occur between 9am - 6pm (Monday to Friday, excludes Public Holidays). Light Trap will not be held accountable for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries.

    Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address. Light Trap cannot be held responsible for incorrectly entered delivery addresses.

    The production time for all framed artwork is 21 business days from the date of purchase. This excludes delivery timeframe.

  • Payments

    All amounts quoted on this site are in Australian Dollars and includes 10% GST. Payments are processed either via Credit Card or Paypal.

    Light Trap reserves the right to change pricing at its discretion and without notice.

    Light Trap is registered for GST purposes.

    Light Trap's Australian Business Number is 88 988 502 740.

  • Returns Policy

    Light Trap at all times endeavours to ensure that the artwork listed on this site is a true representation of the final product delivered to you. So if for any reason an item is not what you expected, contact Light Trap immediately.

    Please note, there are no returns, exchanges or change of mind purchases. We have a no return on sale item policy.

  • Damaged Goods

    Light Trap takes every care possible to pack and protect framed artwork with every piece thoroughly checked before sending. If in the event your artwork is damaged, please notify Light Trap within 2 days of receiving your goods. Once notified of a damaged good, Light Trap will be in contact to initiate a resolution and where appropriate, organise the collection and return of the product at an agreed time. Customers bare the responsibility of any futile charges that arise (where the pick up is booked but the consignment is not available for collection at the agreed time period).

    All returned goods must be in their original packaging with all accessories, and be in original condition. Unfortunately we cannot accept any returns where the original packaging has been ripped, damaged or discarded. Upon receipt of the return goods, we will inspect your product and a refund will be processed within 5 working days. Please contact Light Trap to initiate a product return.

    Please note that Light Trap will refund the original product purchase price. Delivery charges and cost to return the good/s are not refundable to the customer.

    Light Trap products are hand produced using the highest quality products throughout all stages of artwork assembly.

  • Care and Maintenance

    Whilst all of our artwork is printed on 330gsm fine photographic cotton rag paper, we recommend not hanging your artwork in direct sunlight as this may affect the artwork over time.

  • Limited Edition Artworks

    Each Limited Edition artwork is as described under the product description. The edition of each artwork applies to each available size.

  • Artwork Sizes

    All artwork sizes listed are rounded to the nearest centimetre. For all artwork dimemsions, please refer to the information contained under each product displayed in the shop section of this website.

    All contemporary frames have a 2cm face reveal and are 4cm in depth.

    All artworks have a surrounding 7cm white acid-free mat board.

    Please note that all images listed on this website, including insitu images are not to scale.

  • Colour of Artwork

    Light Trap uses commercially reasonable efforts to display the colours of artwork accurately via this site. However, because individual computer monitors may display colours differently, Light Trap is not responsible for the colour accuracy of any artwork and disclaims all liability in this regard. Please note that Light Trap uses colour calibrated monitors.

  • Social Media

    Light Trap has a number of active social media accounts, namely Facebook and Instagram. This website does not list all content that may be shown on these accounts. Customers who wish to purchase artwork that is listed on Light Trap's social media accounts that are not currently listed on this website should contact Light Trap via the contact page.

    All competitions and giveaways (but not limited to) via Light Trap's social media accounts are bound by these policies, terms and conditions.

  • Warranty

    Light Trap offers a 12-month warranty to be free from defects in materials and workmanship (artwork purchased from this website only) in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Customers may be required to provide evidence (such as photographs) to substantiate their warranty claim. Upon arrival, Light Trap will replace or repair the defect, at its discretion. Normal wear and tear, damage arising from abnormal use or abuse, products which have not been maintained, or have been modified and any indirect or consequential loss is not covered by the warranty. Minor variations in the advertised size, colour or appearance is not covered by this warranty.

    Unless otherwise specified, all artworks are intended for indoor use only. Products which have been used in an outdoor capacity, and are exposed to outdoor elements, whether undercover or covered will not be covered by the warranty. The warranty period commences on the date of the item is delivered by the courier. Customers are required to provide proof of purchase when lodging a warranty claim.

    If you receive a package which is visually damaged or opened insist that this is noted with the courier before signing for your order.

    If you have purchased Light Trap artwork directly from a retail store, please contact them directly of any defects.

  • Privacy Policy

    Light Trap is committed to protecting your privacy when you visit our website. We do not collect personal information about individuals, such as names and mailing or e-mail addresses, unless the individual knowingly provides it. In choosing to provide this information, you agree to be bound by these conditions of Light Trap's Privacy Policy.

    All images, descriptions, logos and material found on this website are copyright to Light Trap. Permission must be obtained to use, reproduce, edit or manipulate images, descriptions, logos, material or any intellectual property.
